New Hires

AE Tech Design is pleased to announce the addition of two production team members serving as CAD resources - Clayton Ballett (pronounced ‘ballot’)  and Evan Cain.  Clayton and Evan are responsible for locating low-voltage systems within existing buildings, documenting their locations and producing drawings throughout each phase of the project.  Both Clayton and Evan started April 1st – no joke; and being good sports and the youngest of our team, were initiated into our fold with kid-size chairs (see photo).  We knew during interviews they were both a good catch and have proven over the past few weeks, just how valuable they are to the AE Tech Design team.

Evan has spent his first few weeks working on Dearborn Heights District No. 7 bond Series II projects and Climax-Scotts Public Schools. Evan splits his time between AE Tech Design and the classroom, currently attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College and transferring to Western Michigan University in the fall in pursuit of his engineering degree. When he can escape from AE Tech Design and the classroom, he leads an active lifestyle in the gym, enjoying the outdoors, and skiing in the winter. When you see Evan, wish him a happy belated birthday as he celebrated a milestone birthday April 16th!

Clayton and department director, Nathan Withers, spent one of Clayton’s first days surveying Greenville Public Schools High School for the upcoming technology improvements. Clayton is completing his AutoCAD Specialist Certification through Kalamazoo Valley Community College and pursuing his Engineering Design degree at Western Michigan University. When Clayton is not working on the AE Tech Design team, he can be found in the classroom, playing his guitar, exploring new music, or sorting recent additions to his varied record collection. Please help us welcome Clayton to AE Tech Design – his 6’-4” stature means he can’t be missed!
